Tilden-Coil Raises Over $1 Million for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Tilden-Coil Constructors TEAM KSMO proudly announces that they have successfully raised over one million dollars for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) since 2009.

This impressive achievement began with one of their team members being diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2009. The Tilden-Coil family rallied together to support their colleague in need and formed a walk team for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk. The LLS is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research, finding cures, and providing support for blood cancer patients and their families.

Despite setting a lofty fundraising goal of $10,000 in their first year, Tilden-Coil Constructors raised over $36,000 for the LLS in 2009. Their efforts did not stop there. They followed up their flagship year with even stronger efforts, raising $60,500 in the fight against blood cancer.

Since then, Tilden-Coil Constructors has been actively involved in raising awareness and funds for the LLS, including participating in LLS's Light The Night Walk and hosting various fundraising events. Dayne Brassard, President of Tilden-Coil Constructors, Inc., expressed pride in the impact they have made in the fight against blood cancer and vowed to continue supporting the LLS. He also stated "we are grateful to our employees, partners, and sponsors for their generosity and commitment to this important cause. These fundraising efforts have significantly impacted the lives of blood cancer patients and their families, and these contributions to LLS's research efforts will continue to bring hope and support to those affected by blood cancers."

Efforts to raise funds for TEAM KSMO are organized by Tilden-Coil's Global Greater Good (G3) Committee. This employee driven committee “exists to serve by caring for communities” and is made up of a wide variety of Tilden-Coil team members and outside partners who meet monthly. This talented committee joins together in raising funds, and donating their time to various organizations and causes such as: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Riverside Educational Enrichment Foundation (REEF), World Vision, breast cancer, blood drives, school backpacks, food drives, Inland Empire Christmas families, Compassion International, and many more. Every team member at Tilden-Coil has the opportunity to become a champion for the specific cause that they are most passionate about, and the G3 Committee serves as the vehicle to make it happen.
