Crest Cottages Breaks Ground, Bringing Housing and Community Together
Tilden-Coil Constructors is honored to be a construction partner on Crest Cottages, a new 11-home housing development designed to support young adults aging out of foster care and families at risk of separation. The project officially broke ground on January 15, 2026 on the campus of Crest Community Church in Riverside, marking a major milestone in a decade-long community vision.
Developed in partnership with Olive Crest and Crest
Community Church, Crest Cottages goes beyond providing housing by pairing
safe, stable homes with on-site support services. Residents will have access to
case management, counseling, and life-skills programming from Olive Crest,
while church members and volunteers help foster a sense of community and
belonging.
The thoughtfully designed site includes 11 residential cottages and a multipurpose community building arranged around shared gathering spaces, reinforcing connection, and long-term stability. The project reflects a shared commitment among nonprofit leaders, designers, builders, and donors to address not only housing insecurity, but also the isolation often faced by vulnerable youth.
Tilden-Coil Constructors is honored to collaborate with project partners including Ruhnau Clarke Architects, Design West Engineering, and HomeAid Inland Empire on this meaningful development, which represents a long-term investment in Riverside’s future and those working to build brighter, more secure futures.
