1. Tilden-Coil Constructors Celebrates 80 Years of Building in Southern California

    Riverside, California (November 1, 2018) – Tilden-Coil Constructors, Inc., a Riverside-based builder serving all of Southern California, is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year. The company attributes its longevity to the culture instilled by its founders, a culture focused on service and quality and not overall growth. 

  2. Historic UCR Barn Begins Construction

    The century old building known as “The Barn” is one of the most popular and beloved places on the University of California, Riverside campus. In the past, The Barn was a venue for live music and the university hopes to bring back the lively outdoor atmosphere after the $20 million renovation. 

  3. Tilden-Coil Partners with The Grove and the City of Riverside for Homeless Housing

    Tilden-Coil is the lead private industry partner for a transitional housing demonstration project called The Grove Village. This will be the first project to respond to the City of Riverside’s Love your Neighbor Campaign. This campaign allows houses of worship to care for the housing needs of our homeless brothers and sisters on church campuses. The purpose of this project permits homeless and/or low-income individuals to remain in the village housing until they can stabilize their lives, then move into a more permanent living situation elsewhere.
  4. California Baptist University College of Engineering Building Dedication

    On July 25, 2018, California Baptist University held a celebratory ribbon cutting ceremony to dedicate the new College of Engineering Building which was completed by Tilden-Coil Constructors ahead of schedule. 
  5. Staying the Course, 2018 Retreat is a Success!

    Tilden-Coil celebrated 80 years in business at the annual company retreat this last May. In addition to many fun activities at the Huntington Hyatt, we recognized Dave Peters and Martha Walsworth who have retired after 16 years and 26 years of service respectively; Amanda Apat the recipient of the Marshal Tilden Quality Award and Sam Vazquez the recipient of the Henry W. Coil, Jr. Integrity Award; James Messineo for 30 years of service; and we remembered a dear friend and Tilden-Coil family member we lost this year, Sandy Richter.  

  6. Starting Blocks Program Completes Its 8th Year!

    In June 2011, Tilden-Coil Constructors along with other partners launched this community-wide program that benefits the disadvantaged elementary school students throughout Riverside Unified School District. The two week program educates the students about water safety and nutrition and even provides swimming lessons at the Riverside Aquatics Complex.
