Construction Underway: Tilden-Coil Begins Work on New Redlands City Hall

On February 17, 2026, Tilden-Coil Constructors joined city officials for a groundbreaking ceremony, marking the start of construction on the new Redlands City Hall, a transformative project that will bring a modern, centralized civic hub to the heart of downtown.

Located at 300 E. State Street, the project involves the renovation and adaptive reuse of the existing Citrus Center building into a fully updated municipal facility. Tilden-Coil is leading construction efforts as part of a collaborative team working closely with the City of Redlands and Miller Architecture to deliver the project. The new facility will feature modern council chambers equipped with advanced audio-visual systems, upgraded workspaces for city staff, and improved areas designed to better serve the public.

The project also reflects the City’s long-term vision to consolidate municipal services into a single, centrally located facility while revitalizing a key downtown property. By repurposing the existing structure, the team is able to accelerate project delivery and reduce overall environmental impact, aligning with sustainable construction practices and responsible resource use.

Upon completion, the new Redlands City Hall will stand as a cornerstone of civic life, supporting efficient city operations while providing a welcoming, modern space for residents to connect with local government.
