Tilden-Coil Breaks Ground at Canyon Springs High School

On January 22, 2020, Moreno Valley USD held a celebratory ground-breaking ceremony for the New Classroom Building project at Canyon Springs High School. This project is the first in a series of improvements to Canyon Springs High School and includes a new two-story classroom building consisting of eight science classrooms, 16 standard classrooms, a replacement kitchen, multi-purpose room addition and administration modernization. Dr. Locke, Board President, stated, “Our students deserve this. As a retired educator that has been around for a long time, to see what we are giving our students is so powerful.”
When working on an active high school campus, Tilden-Coil makes the safety of students and faculty their top priority. Canyon Springs High School serves thousands of students between 9th and 12th grade. Tamera Kerr, Principal, stated, “They’re (Tilden-Coil) very aware of our school schedule. As a principal, it is such a blessing to have people that actually know it is not a construction site, but a school that happens to have construction on it.”
