Starting Blocks Program Completes Its 8th Year!

In June 2011, Tilden-Coil Constructors along with other partners launched this community-wide program that benefits the disadvantaged elementary school students throughout Riverside Unified School District. The two week program educates the students about water safety and nutrition and even provides swimming lessons at the Riverside Aquatics Complex.
This past June we completed our 8th successful year of Starting Blocks! There were ten RUSD Elementary Schools that participated bringing the total of 2018 students to approximately 1,750. In its eight years, this program has provided over 6,000 swimming lessons to the students of the Riverside community.
We would like to give a special thank you to our partners that help make this program possible.
