Brian Jaramillo is Awarded the 2021 Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award

This month, our very own Brian Jaramillo was honored as the 2021 recipient of the Frank Miller Civic Achievement Award. Frank A. Miller was the founder of the Mission Inn and is remembered for his innovation, community leadership, and support for the City of Riverside. “His tradition of civic leadership and devotion to this community carries on in the efforts of many leaders and innovators working to promote and enhance the City of Riverside today.” The Mission Inn Foundation recognized Brian as their 2021 recipient for his continuous leadership in and generosity towards the City of Riverside.

Some of the many ways Brian has given back to the community include:

  • His efforts with The Grove Village Homeless Housing Project
  • Raising over $740,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
  • Represented the Mission Inn Foundation, Friends of Mount Rubidoux, and Riverside Land Conservancy in their successful bid to purchase the land on which the cross sits atop Mount Rubidoux
  • Raised over $750,000 for the Riverside Educational Enrichment Foundation
  • Co-founded the new learn-to-swim-program called Starting Blocks that has supported the teaching of swimming skills to over 6,000 students in the Riverside community.

Brian continuously shows his devotion to the Riverside community and now serves as a Board Member for Path of Life Ministries, committed to serving the greater Riverside area’s homeless, challenged youth and family population.

Congratulations Brian on this well deserved honor!
