Overview
This project transformed an existing classroom into a state-of-the-art CTE learning environment for Riverside Unified School District’s first Welding & Fabrication Technologies program. The newly renovated space features eight welding stations and advanced manufacturing equipment, including mills, band saws, 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, and a vacuum-forming machine. Designed to provide students with hands-on, career-focused learning opportunities, the facility supports instruction in advanced manufacturing processes, welding techniques, industry safety standards, and other career-ready skills. With more than 190 students enrolled, the new program expands the District’s CTE offerings while preparing students to pursue high-demand careers in welding, fabrication, manufacturing, and the skilled trades.
