2020 Pounds of Hope
A combination of the recent Shelter-in-Place orders, gym closures and regular holiday snacking fueled the demand for the return of Pounds of Hope. 19 team members, who on average, lost over 4 lbs, participated in the 30 day challenge. The “biggest loser” was Erik Ramirez who lost a staggering 22 lbs. When asked how he was able to accomplish such a feat he said it was a regiment of running 3 times a week, lowering his carb intake to under 40 grams a day, and eating smaller portioned meals throughout the day. Congratulations to Erik and all who participated this year. You serve as inspiration for all of us to stay healthy.
