Overview
Tilden-Coil was the design-builder for this new courthouse project. The project included 4 Federal District courtrooms with 2 suites per floor; U.S. Marshal’s service with 4 high security detention cells; a high level secured vehicle entrance and transfer area, office and transfer area. The main level is Court Clerks offices and includes jury reception and waiting areas along with other court related facilities. The upper 2 floors contain 2 Federal courtrooms on each floor, judge’s chambers, meeting and jury rooms and high security holding cells. The project also included a 30,000 sf surface parking area and 3,840 sf below grade parking structure.
