Overview

The new 35,380 sf. structural steel framed building is a California High Performance School (CHPS) project as well as a state-of-the-art science building utilizing green technology and an energy management system that incorporates the use of photo voltaic roof panels that will allow the building to conserve energy and generate its own electrical power. The sleek modern design also features skylights and photo voltaic glazing panels with dual glazing and low-energy design integrated below aluminum and corrugated steel shade structures. The surrounding new site work is dominated by decomposed granite which allows water permeation into the water table that in turn prevents less run into the storm drain systems.
